Gŵyl CRIME CYMRU Festival 2022 Festival at Aberystwyth

The Gŵyl CRIME CYMRU Festival will run from 30th April to 2nd May 2022.

This is the bank holiday weekend, so why not make a holiday of your visit.

With venues, times and panels yet to be confirmed, tickets are not yet available. What we can promise though, is a wide variety of authors and TV personalities from the Crime Fiction and True Crime literary world. To secure an early warning, please sign up to our newsletter.

Invited guests include CWA Diamond Dagger winner Martin Edwards, Ann Cleeves, Peter James, Clare Mackintosh, and Mari Hannah. Andrea Byrne, from ITV News, will be moderating three true-crime panels including an interview with retired detective Steve Wilkins and fellow journalist Jonathan Hill to give us the inside track on the Pembrokeshire Murders. Matthew Hall (BAFTA Wales winner) and Aneirin Hughes (Tom) from ‘Keeping Faith’ will reveal what goes on behind the scenes. Fflur Dafydd and Roger Williams will, we hope, join Dinah Jones to discuss crime fiction in the welsh language.

Again, every panel will include at least one member of Crime Cymru. After all, this Festival is about celebrating and introducing you to Welsh talent.

We look forward to seeing you.
